Lucina Wilde

Lucina is the research assistant on the PRECAS project and is based within the Centre for Reproduction Research at De Montfort University. Her research interests include the experiences of people living with chronic conditions and disabilities, and their families. She is particularly interested in health inequalities, gender and health, and qualitative research methods.

First joining DMU in 2014, Lucina completed her undergraduate in Psychology with Health Studies followed by an MSc in Health Psychology in 2018. Lucina then completed an MPhil at the University of Leicester in the self-management of chronic kidney disease, developing her qualitative research skills.

Alongside her work on the PRECAS project, Lucina is also a research fellow on a project aiming to improve the psychological preparation for amputation surgery.
